This is how it all began...

It started with a spark… and a tray of arancinis in a Tupperware.

We didn’t come to copy what already exists.
We came to bring what no one else was offering.

There are plenty of Italians in Mallorca. And plenty of Italian restaurants. But no one had brought this: the rosticceria. A humble kind of cooking—honest, traditional… and absolutely essential to any Italian’s daily life.

L’Arancina was born from a bold idea: not to replicate what already works, but to lead with something new.

"I realised no one was offering this. And I thought: if we can make it work, the possibilities are endless."

We’re not a brand. We’re a story.

Some recipes are designed in a spreadsheet.
And others come from home.
The kind you’ve had a thousand times, and still never get tired of.

That’s what we do here: Turn memories into products. Culture into flavour. Everyday Italian life into something you can eat.

"I love good food. But more than that, I love seeing someone’s face when they try something that feels real— even if they can’t quite say why."

What drives us

It’s not just about selling. It’s about sharing. We believe in human connection, empathy, and warmth.
In doing things right, without losing the joy. And in the idea that a business can thrive without losing its soul.

"Money isn’t the most important thing. What stays with us is what we live—and how we help others live it, too."

So… who’s behind all this?

Maya Trocciola - Fundadora l'arancina

Ciao a tutti! I’m Maya.
I left Italy young—with a head full of questions and one clear goal: to create something of my own.

Mallorca was the place where that idea started taking shape. At first, it was just a gut feeling. Today, it’s a reality—with a name, a soul, and a whole lot of work behind it.

L’Arancina wasn’t born from a perfect plan. It came from instinct, trial and error, and slowly surrounding myself with people who believed in the same vision.

Every team member is a vital part of this story. Without them, none of this would make sense.

People sometimes say I must be a little crazy to bet on something so different. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned on this journey, it’s that for something to truly work—it has to come from within. And that shows.

And if you ask the people who’ve known Maya forever…

“Are you crazy?” “With all that’s already out there, you’re really going to start something new?”

Yes. And thank goodness she did it.

So what now?

We want to keep doing what we do—but go further. To help people who’ve never heard of rosticceria discover what they’ve been missing.

"It’s not about how many locations we have. It’s about people really understanding what we’re offering: something that comes from deep within. And that feeling? You can taste it."

Book a table and come hungry.

You’ve read the story… now come taste it.
